Well, I guess there's a first time for everything

Well, I never thought I'd have my own little blog. I can't imagine I'll have a ton to say. Probably a lot of complaining about winter (my least favorite season) and general ramblings of an opinionated woman. Also, maybe a lesson here and there. I guess that would be the best place to start since I don't have much else to say right this minute.

The word of the day "fixin." It can be used as a noun, a verb, or an adverb. For example:
noun: We had turkey dinner with all the fixin's.
verb: He was fixin the broken table.
adverb: I'm fixin to go to the store.

So there have it Minnesotans...fixin is a word. So if you got your feathers ruffled, please know that I have no axe to grind. I just don't need it pointed out every time I say the word y'all or the word fixin. Bless your hearts; I know you mean well, but frankly my dear I don't give a damn.

"Fixin'" and "Spoon" are my favorite noun/verbs.

"BBQ" is not a noun/verb. It is a noun. "Grilling" is the verb.
